Joining the Buckeye Catholic Sponsor Society includes a commitment to weekly intercessory prayer for the students. The type of prayer constituting this weekly commitment may be personally discerned by each sponsor, and ideas for this commitment are included below. Additionally, individual student prayer requests are sent to sponsors periodically throughout the year.*

*For the sake of privacy and since sponsorship is symbolic, sponsors are not given any specific information about the student(s) they are sponsoring. However, sponsors are invited to dedicate their sponsorship to a specific student if they so choose. Please see the FAQ section for more information on how to dedicate your gift to a specific student.

When you symbolically sponsor a student’s offertory, you ensure each student has the resources they need to thrive in their Catholic faith during college and into the rest of their lives. You make the Sacraments, deeper spiritual formation, evangelistic outreach, cultivation of Christ-centered friendships, and opportunities for service readily accessible to students. In doing so, you play an indispensable role in fueling the mission and concretely enabling students to strive together toward the heights of sainthood at Buckeye Catholic.
