Sacraments & Liturgy
  • Help maintain the St. Thomas More Chapel, preserving this sacred space for prayer.
  • Make the graces of Sacramental life in the Church easily accessible to students by providing 4 Sunday Masses and 8 hours of Confession per week, and 2 daily Masses and 8 hours of Eucharistic Adoration each weekday.
  • Propel a robust OCIA program that catechizes and prepares those wishing to become Catholic for full initiation into the Church.
Community & Evanglization
  • Support student events and initiatives focused on building an authentic and vibrant Catholic student community.
  • Fuel mission-centered outreach across The Ohio State University’s campus.
  • Promote Christ-centered friendship and ongoing growth through student Bible studies & small groups.
  • Revitalize the faith of students by putting on multiple retreats and organizing trips to national conferences.
  • Supply the Buckeye Catholic Student Organization with the resources needed to cultivate a culture of missionary discipleship.
Spiritual Formation & Leadership
  • Provide students with opportunities to develop a deeper spiritual and prayer life.
  • Promulgate the richness of the Church’s intellectual life through engaging speakers, resources, and events.
  • Invite students into intentional mentorship aimed at formation to Christian maturity.
  • Activate SPO and FOCUS missionaries to be present at and partners under the umbrella of Buckeye Catholic’s ministry.
Vocation & Service
  • Provide access to spiritual direction and accompaniment for students along their vocational discernment journey.
  • Expose students to joyful priests, clergy and religious from a variety of spiritualities and orders.
  • Encourage students to courageously discern their vocation and be open to God’s unique call for them to the priesthood, religious life, consecrated single life, or marriage.
  • Strengthen student involvement in the corporal and spiritual works of mercy through the organization and promotion of weekly volunteer opportunities and Spring Break service trips.
