Who We Are
Welcome to Buckeye Catholic!
We are the Catholic campus ministry serving the undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff of The Ohio State University.
Residing across the street from campus on Lane Avenue, the St. Thomas More Newman Center is the home for our ministry.
Buckeye Catholic encompasses all campus ministry efforts present, including the Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS), and Saint Paul’s Outreach (SPO).
We serve as one body to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with every student at Ohio State.
Our Mission
We form missionary disciples of Jesus Christ at Ohio State by fostering a Catholic community rooted in sacramental life, evangelistic zeal, and generosity in service and vocation.
Our Vision
Our vision is to evangelize the campus of Ohio State by forming missionary disciples who encounter Christ and become leaders in the Church and for the world.
