We all need a break once in a while, right? At the Newman Center, we believe there's no better way to get away than to embark on one of the unique, rewarding retreat experiences we offer year-round. So, do something great for your faith: get away from campus for a weekend, grow in your relationship with God, make amazing new friends, reflect on your life and better understand your calling.
Buckeye Awakening #20 is March 1-3, 2019. Join us!
Buckeye Awakening is a weekend Catholic retreat designed for college students from The Ohio State University. There are a variety of student-led talks and fun activities designed to "awaken" the Holy Spirit within each of the retreaters. This experience is held at Damascus Catholic Mission Campus in Centerburg, Ohio, and we can't wait for you to be part of it! All college students, regardless of faith tradition, are invited to attend.
Buckeye Awakening #20 is March 1-3. It starts on Friday at 4:30 p.m. and ends Sunday at 5 p.m. with a celebration of the Mass.
The actual cost of Awakening is over $150/person for lodging, food, transportation, a t-shirt and supplies; Newman Center donors sponsor the remainder of the cost. Note: There is a $25 cancellation fee; no refunds 14 days before the retreat for cancellations.
