We all need a break once in a while, right? At the Newman Center, we believe there's no better way to get away than to embark on one of the unique, rewarding retreat experiences we offer year-round. So, do something great for your faith: get away from campus for a weekend, grow in your relationship with God, make amazing new friends, reflect on your life and better understand your calling.

New Beginnings Retreat
The New Beginnings Retreat offers first-year students the opportunity to get away from the pressures of classes, studies, and work, to spend a little time in prayer and building your relationship with God in the Catholic community at the Newman Center with other first-year students. This retreat focuses on the transitions we encounter in life, especially in coming to OSU. We discuss the fears and expectations faced in these "New Beginnings," the relationships we develop, and the visions we have for ourselves in this new time. On this retreat you will meet new friends, learn about what others are encountering in their transition to OSU, and grow closer to God.
Dates: Our New Beginnings retreat takes place each September. Please check back for our Fall 2022 Retreat dates!
Cost: $25 and payment is required at time of registration. Scholarships are available upon request.
