Years of Paulist support for his education: 
  • 8 years of elementary school at Good Shepherd, Paulist parish in NYC (1936-1944)
  • 6 years at the Paulist juniorate in Baltimore MD: 4 years of high school and 2 years of college (1944-1950)
  • 1 year of novitiate, Mt. Paul Novitiate, Oak Ridge, NJ (1950-1951)
  • 6 years at St. Paul's College (last 2 years of college and 4 years of theology) (1951-1957)
  • Ordination (May 11, 1957)
  • 1 year at Catholic University, Master's degree in Greek & Latin (1958-1959)
 
Involvement in Paulist education and formation:
  • 1959-1968 at St. Peter's College, Baltimore, MD, teaching Greek & Latin
  • 1968-1976 Novice Director at Mt. Paul, Oak Ridge, NJ
  • 17 years doing Paulist formation
