Healing Arts Celebration Wednesday, October 19, 2016
Please join us for the 2016 Healing Arts Celebration, honoring professionals and volunteers in healing arts vocations and ministries!
This year's celebration will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 19 - immediately following the Feast of St. Luke, the patron saint of physicians and caregivers. Join us at 5 p.m. for a CME lecture titled “Cross Roads: Navigating Faith and Science in Medical School,” presented by fourth year medical student and current Catholic Medical Association national president Lindsay Marugg. The lecture will be followed by a special White Mass celebrated by the Most Reverend Frederick Campbell at 6 p.m. The evening concludes with a reception honoring the 40th anniversary of the Newman Center's hospital ministry.
Attendees are encouraged to come dressed in white coats, scrubs or appropriate medical attire.
