Mustard Seed Cafe

The Newman Center is annoucing the opening of its newest initiative in the fight against hunger - the Mustard Seed Cafe.  During each home Ohio State footall game this fall, volunteers and staff from the Newman Center will be selling hot dogs, brats, chips, and drinks to raise money to support the Newman Center's Food for the Homeless ministries, which current provide more than 500 meals each month to those in need.  Learn more about the Mustard Seed Cafe!

Food for the Homeless Ministries

Homelessness is a a problem that affects many people in Columbus.  Several trends are largely responsible for the rise in homelessness: a growing shortage of affordable housing, a rise in poverty, and eroding work opportutnies.  If you want to learn more about homelessness and how you can help, check out our Food for the Homeless Ministries at the Newman Center.  How will you respond?  Christ has no body on earth but yours.  Learn more about our vibrant outreach ministries.
