Students
We are excited you are here and invite you to become involved in the life and ministry of being a Buckeye Catholic!
Throughout the year, students at the Newman Center gather together to participate in a wide variety of fun, dynamic, and meaningful faith-filled events and programs. Many students discover a more profound connection to Christ and the community by going on a Buckeye Awakening Retreat, worshiping at our daily and Sunday Masses, and by serving as Eucharistic Minister, Musician, and Lector. Many engage in service projects, participate in praise & worship music at Holy Grounds, and meet in small faith sharing groups. A number recognize the importance of making a difference by serving as a student leader on our Core Team or on of our six Leadership Teams:
- Mission Trips,
- Retreats,
- Service Projects,
- Social Events,
- Spiritual Life, and
- Public Relations.
The possibilities to get involved are endless!
At the Newman Center, you have the opportunity to do what you do best every day. Your natural talents and passions, the things you truly love to do, can be shared with others in our vibrant community. So, take a look around; find out who we are and about all that we do. Let us know what your passion is so we can connect you to one or more of our many exciting groups and ministries.
If you are interested in getting involved, contact Austin Schafer at (614) 291-4674 x116.
