Newman Center Calendar
The Newman Center is one busy place! Below you'll find all the weekly and upcoming events on our Newman Center full calendar. Click here: NEWMAN CENTER CALENDAR
Students: Are you interested in connecting with a resident community family at the Newman Center? Our Adopt-a-Buckeye program pairs up students with amazing resident community members and families at the Newman Center as a way for you to build community, get more connected, and find a host "family" during your time here at OSU to support you in your college life. You'll meet up about once a month for coffee, a home-cooked dinner, a service project, or a Newman Center Mass or event as a way for you to have a community mentor and build relationships in our dynamic Catholic community. In the past 4 years, we've paired up over 50 students with community mentors in our ESTEEM Leadership program, but now we're opening up this opportunity for every student in our community. If you are interested in having a host family adopt you, please sign-up here.
Sundays at 7 p.m. in the Social Hall
For just $3, you can enjoy an all-you-can-eat Spaghetti Dinner with meatballs, salad, and garlic bread! It’s great to come after the 6 p.m. Mass or before the 9 p.m. Mass. It’s a fun way to meet lots of new friends! Also, if you love to cook, we are always looking for new volunteer leaders to help prepare the meal!
Tuesdays at 8:30 p.m. in the Main Sanctuary
Praise and Worship Music, Fellowship, and Faith Sharing! Holy Grounds is one of the most popular student events at the Newman Center!
