Adult Confirmation Preparation

The process for preparation of adults involves an 8-week program of catechesis focusing on the Gifts of the holy Spirit and identifying those gifts in day-to-day life. Weekly classes begin Sunday Oct. 19, 2014 beginning at 4:30 p.m. and ending in time for the 6 p.m. Mass. There is also a period that those preparing for confirmation focus on involvement in a variety of ministry activities. An evening of reflection on Friday, Jan 30, 2015 will conclude the preparation for the sacrament. This process is required in order to participate in the celebration of confirmation. An open house for Adult Sacramental Preparation will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 26 from 3-7 p.m. at the Newman Center. For more information or to register, please contact Laura LeCompte at (614) 291-4674 x101.

High School Confirmation Preparation

The process for preparation of high school students involves meeting once a month on Sundays. Our catechesis will focus on the four pillars of our Catholic Faith - the Creed, Prayer, Morality and the Sacraments, as well as looking at how our Catholic faith fits into our every day life. A day retreat will take place throughout the process as an opportunity for continued reflection and growth. This process is required in order to participate in the celebration of confirmation. For more information or to register, please contact Katy Coffey at (614) 291-4674 x108.
