Karen Broering

Pastoral Associate for Faith Formation

Originally from Westerville, Ohio, Karen has been a part of the Newman Center community since she began college in the fall of 2001. She participated in the Wednesday night student group and Chapel prayer group and later went on to be one of the volunteers that helped coordinate student activities. Karen also became the Assistant Music Minister and began leading the music for two Masses per weekend in October 2004.

Karen has been part of the Pastoral staff since December 2005, where she works to coordinate Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, Sacramental Preparation for children and teens, and collaborates with others for some of the Adult Faith Formation programs offered here at the Newman Center. She is also studying at Ohio Dominican University to complete her Master of Art in Theology.
Karen lives in Westerville with her husband, Frank, and son, Daniel.
