Eucharist
As Catholics, the Eucharist is at the core of our faith. It is both the cause of, and the sign of, the unity of the Body of Christ. When we gather for Eucharist, whether on a Sunday or a weekday, we gather in praise and worship, celebrating Christ's presence in Word and Sacrament.
For people interested in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament, the Eucharist is reserved in our daily Chapel, accessible from our Lane Ave. entrance. The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops has a helpful question-and-answer document about the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist.
At most of our Masses, we use bread baked by community members. They use a recipe that is approved by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, which uses only wheat flour and water.
