Blood Drives
Blood drives at the Newman Center are serious fun. They're serious, because the need for blood is a constant reminder of the fragility of human life, and an opportunity for us to literally give life to people in desperate need. They're fun because we make them fun! Our drives are huge community events with fun themes, lots of amazing food, cool activities for people of all ages, and of course, the opportunity to donate blood to the Red Cross.
Our summer blood drive will be on Sunday,
June 27, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Come to our luau!
Burgers and hot dogs will be grilled with “tropical” flavor on the side. If you have questions about giving blood, volunteering, or donating food, please contact Brian Peebles at tornado40@hotmail.com.
For more information, please contact the Newman Center office at (614) 291-4674.
