Andrew Robison

Development Director

As the Director of Development at the Newman Center, Andrew raises support for the Roman Catholic community at The Ohio State University, the largest university in the country. In his previous position at the campus ministry at Texas A&M University, he created a nationally recognized class gift program, streamlined and doubled the output of the annual phone-a-thon, and helped double the number of EFT supporters to more than 500 individuals and families.  At the Ohio State Newman Center, he is working to expand the network of support for the ministry, build a dynamic Leadership Council and create a stronger culture of philanthropy among students, alumni and the community.

Andrew earned his M.A. in Philanthropy and Development from Saint Mary’s University in Minnesota as the first recipient of the Petrus Fellowship. His Capstone Paper on the benefits and challenges of using electronic funds transfer as a method of giving to nonprofit organizations has helped charities around the country begin their own EFT programs.
He and his wife Cheryl reside in Columbus, Ohio with their first child, Annabel, born in September 2009.
